You may not have come into contact with us yet – but chances are that the young mother down the street, the elderly couple around the corner, or the nice family next door has. The Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre's programs and services touch many people's lives in many different ways.
The Western Ottawa CRC is all about giving people a chance to change their lives, to learn new skills, to feel the warmth of support through difficult times, to share with others experiencing similar challenges. The best way to help people is to support them in reaching their goals. We work together with others to find innovative solutions to the issues that concern us in order to bring about change.

You may think that the Western Ottawa CRC is funded solely by city and government dollars but in fact only a partial amount comes from government sources. The majority of our programs receive funding from donations from generous community members just like you.
Your generous gift will allow those in need to receive the support they so desperately need.
It's the small things on a day to day basis that really matter; watching the children and their parents come to a drop-in at the Early Years Centre, having a cup of tea with one of our adult day program attendees or reading a heartfelt note from a mom who's child no longer fears going to school.
Everyday I have the privilege of seeing firsthand how the generosity of our donors and corporate sponsors helps to rebuild lives, often torn apart through illness, abuse, loss and even death.
