Services for Seniors & Adults with Physical Disabilities
Community Support Program
Offers programs to support individuals and families in Goulbourn, Kanata, Nepean and West Carleton. Our Community Support Services assist seniors and adults with physical disabilities who are living independently in the community. Eligibility criteria will apply. These services are provided by volunteers and paid workers who have been screened (includes police records check). Volunteers are trained by staff at the WOCRC. The WOCRC tries to accommodate all requests; this depends on the availability of volunteers and workers.

Expansion of Services
The Community Support Team has moved towards full service integration. We have made positive changes to our service delivery. It is important to note that this may change who you talk to about your services, but it does not change the services you are receiving.
Seamless client services:
Now when you call for services you will talk to only one person, a Program and Service Coordinator. This person will coordinate all of your services. The new seamless client services model will make it easier for you to register for all the services you require instead of making multiple phone calls.
All you need to do is call 613-591-3686 and ask to speak to a Community Support Program and Service Coordinator.
Nepean Support Services & WOCRC merger information
Nepean Support Services (NSS) merged with WOCRC on April 1, 2009. This voluntary integration is ground breaking, as we are coming together to provide better services. Although NSS and WOCRC have separate histories, we have always shared a common objective: to assist seniors and adults with physical disabilities to live independent, active and meaningful lives. Both organizations help clients through respectful, responsive services and programs that promote health and wellbeing. We remain dedicated to these goals.
